Shrove Tuesday

Around 1100AD, Shrove Tuesday (Pancake Day) became a traditional way to use up dairy products before lent... and the pancake phenomenon was born.

The pancake dinner is free and open to the public. Goodwill donations will be accepted.

After dinner at 6:30 pm, we will gather in the Adoration Chapel for the burial of the Alleluia as we prepare our hearts for lent, with the presider, Fr. John Tonkin, Shrine Rector
